This site had two recipes that really caught my eye. One was apple pie oatmeal and the other was how to make fresh yogurt on the trail. I’m not sure I would ever do it, but a pretty interesting and cool idea.
This is from the author of “A Fork in the Trail”. She has a ton of recipes on this site. Most are oatmeal or granola based, but there are some other good variations as well.
This site has some backpacking food, but it also has some car camping food. All the food ideas on this site are pretty gourmet in style. There are some crazy things here, so go and see what is possible!
